Nomination of Counsel
The Revenue Solicitor provides a comprehensive legal support service to the Revenue Commissioners acting and advising in relation to all matters under their care and management including the conduct of litigation and appeals and the prosecution of criminal offences. The Revenue Solicitor's Office has a staff of about forty personnel comprised of solicitors, legal clerks and support staff.
Counsel who would like to be considered for opinion work and / or court work can apply by completing the application form 
Counsel/Barrister Application Form. The completed and signed form, together with an up to date Tax Clearance Certificate, should be sent to :
