The waiver of excise duty on on-trade liquor licences will not be extended to renewals in 2022.

The holder of this licence may sell alcohol to passengers in their aircraft for consumption while the aircraft is in flight. The licence relates only to aircraft owned or hired by the air transport concern specified on the licence.

The annual licensing period is from 1 October to 30 September. This licence will expire on 30 September each year regardless of the issue date. 

The cost of an annual licence for each aircraft is €500 each year.
