Outward Processing

If you temporarily export goods for processing or repair you may be entitled to total or partial relief from import duties.

What is Outward Processing?

Outward Processing (O.P.) is an EU customs duty relief procedure. It allows Community goods to be temporarily exported from the customs territory of the Community in order to undergo processing operations and the compensating products resulting from these operations to be released for free circulation in the customs territory of the Community with total or partial relief from import duties. The scheme was established under Council Regulation (EEC) No. 2913/92.
