Overview

This section will explain how to calculate the taxable value of benefits you provide to employees.

You must add the value of the benefit to your employee's pay in the pay period the benefit was given. (The value of the benefit is added as notional pay.) You will be applying tax to the benefit when you deduct from the combined total of pay and benefit value:
