The Mortgage Interest Relief online application is an enhanced online facility to allow customers to both register for mortgage interest relief and make claims for previous years mortgage interest relief in a simple, intuitive manner. All applications for mortgage interest relief must be made on-line. This series of videos are designed to explain how to use the online facility.

Introduction
This video gives an introduction and overview of the mortgage interest relief online facility available on www.revenue.ie
Registering a New Loan
This video demonstrates how a customer registers a new loan or loan for improvements to current home. This video should be selected where loan being registered is the first loan for the property or is a top-up on first loan for property.
Registering a Switcher Loan
This video demonstrates how a customer registers a switcher loan. This video should be selected if you have moved lenders, or if you have switched loan with the same lender, but have not moved home, regardless of whether loan size has increased or not.
Registering a Consolidation Loan
This video demonstrates how a customer registers a consolidation loan. This video should be selected if you are consolidating two or more loans into one loan, secured on your home.
Registering a New Loan and Claiming for Previous Years
This video should be selected if you are claiming for previous years mortgage interest relief.
