Why must I make an interest payment?

You are required to pay interest where a payment of tax has not been made on time.

How will I know how much interest to pay?

You will be contacted by letter to inform you of the amount of interest you are to be charged. This letter will contain a Statement of Interest, which will identify the taxheads and the periods that the interest charge is being levied against.

How can I pay interest?

To make an interest payment, click the interest button, which can be found on the 'My Services' screen. You will then be presented with a list of Taxes and Registration numbers for which you can make an interest payment. You should make a payment against the period(s) as specified to you on the Statement of Interest.

What will happen if I fail to pay interest charge?

You can make an interest payment using either a ROS Debit Instruction (RDI) or a Debit Card.

What will happen if I fail to pay interest charge?

Failure to pay interest as charged will result in the enforcement of collection without further notice.
