Major Operation against Oil Laundering
In a major joint operation named 'Operation Nursery', officers from the Criminal Assets Bureau, Revenue's Customs Service, An Garda Siochana and PSNI are carrying out coordinated searches of premises on both sides of the border.
This operation is aimed at major oil smuggling, laundering, racketeering and money laundering in the border area. The premises being searched include farmhouses and land, out-houses and offices. The operation is ongoing.
