Cocaine Seizure at Dublin Airport
Officers from Revenue's Customs Service at Dublin Airport have today (18/05/2005) seized 1.64 Kgs of Cocaine valued at €115,000 from a 31-year-old Dutch national. The cocaine was concealed in a specially constructed compartment in his suitcase. The man had arrived on a flight from Brussels.
The man has been arrested by Gardai from the Santry Drugs Unit and is due to appear in court later today.
