Cocaine seizure at Dublin Airport
Officers from Revenue's Customs Service at Dublin Airport have today (10/02/2005) seized approximately 0.75 Kgs of Cocaine valued at €50,000 from a 25-year-old Nigerian man. He was intercepted having arrived on a flight from Brussels. During questioning the man admitted to Customs Officers that he swallowed pellets containing Cocaine. He was taken to Beaumont Hospital where the Cocaine was recovered. He was subsequently arrested by Gardai from the Santry Drugs Unit and is currently being questioned in Santry Garda Station.
