Cocaine seizure at Dublin Airport
Officers from Revenue's Customs Service at Dublin Airport have today (17/02/2005) seized approximately 5kgs of Cocaine valued at €350,000 from a 25-year-old Polish woman. She was intercepted having arrived on a flight from Malpenza Airport, Milan, Italy having earlier travelled from Caracas, Venezuela.
The drugs were concealed in four plastic cosmetics bottles in her baggage. The suspect is in Garda custody and is due before the courts later today.
In Milan another female on the same flight from Caracas was detected with 3kgs of Cocaine.
