Seizure of LSD in Dublin


Officers from Revenue's Customs service and Gardai from the Garda National Drugs Unit have today seized 60,000 Lysergic Acid Diethylamide (LSD) tabs with a value of €650,000 and a hand gun. Two male UK nationals in their thirties have been arrested under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act 1996 and are being held at Kevin St. Garda station. The drugs were found when a truck was stopped and searched after it arrived on the car-ferry from Holyhead to Dublin Port.
