Cannabis Seizure in Cork
In a joint operation involving Officers from Revenue’s Customs service and Gardai, approximately 5Kgs. of herbal Cannabis with a street value of €10,000 was seized at a house in Cork city today (13/10/2006). A non-national has been arrested.
The drugs had earlier arrived in the mail from South Africa.
The seizure resulted from risk profiling by Customs officers.
