Joint operation leads to large cocaine seizure in Dublin
In a joint operation between Revenue's Customs Service and the Garda National Drugs Unit approximately 25 kilos of cocaine with an estimated street value of €3.5 million was seized in Dublin city tonight (14/02/06).
The cocaine was concealed in wooden packing crates which had been used to import foodstuff from Nigeria.
Two Irish males and a Nigerian male were arrested and are being held in Store Street Garda station.
