Cocaine seized at Dublin Airport

Officers from Revenue’s Customs Service at Dublin Airport last night (26/04/2006) seized 2.5Kgs. of Cocaine worth approximately €175,000. A 29 year-old Polish national who had arrived on a flight from Brussels was intercepted by Customs officers and found to have the Cocaine concealed in a laptop carrier case. The woman was handed over to the Garda Drug Unit in Santry.

The seizure was a result of passenger profiling.
