Drug Seizure at Dublin Airport
Officers from Revenue's Customs Service last night (31/08/2007) seized 2Kgs cocaine and 3Kgs cannabis resin with a total value of €161,000. A 26 year-old male Polish national has been arrested.
The man had arrived on a flight from Alicante to Dublin airport. His luggage was x-rayed which showed the drugs wrapped in plastic in his suitcase. The man has been taken to Santry Garda station for questioning.
