Customs Seize Cannabis Resin at Rosslare
Officers from Revenue's Customs Service at Rosslare today (3rd October 2007) seized 46.4kgs of Cannabis Resin with an estimated street value of €324,800.
The drugs were concealed in a Spanish registered vehicle which had arrived on a ferry from Cherbourg this morning.
Sniffer dog 'Dillon' identified the drugs which were hidden behind the dashboard of the vehicle.
A Spanish national in his late 20's has been arrested.
The seizure was a result of risk profiling by Customs officers.
