Cocaine Seized by Customs at Dublin Airport
Officers from Revenue’s Customs Service in Dublin Airport today (3 May 2007) seized 6 kg of cocaine with an estimated street value of €420,000 from an Irish male who was travelling from South America to Ireland via Frankfurt Airport.
The cocaine was concealed in a case.
The man, in his forties, was arrested under Section 2 of the Drugs Trafficking Act and has been detained at Santry Garda Station.
