Cocaine Seizure at Dublin Airport
Officers from Revenue's Customs Service today (15/09/2007) seized 1.5Kgs cocaine with a value of €105,000. A 30 year-old Belgian female who is living in Ireland has been arrested.
The woman, who had arrived on a flight from Brussels, had her luggage x-rayed which showed the the cocaine in pellets hidden in four shampoo bottles in her suitcase. The find resulted from risk profiling by Customs officers.
The woman is being detained in Santry Garda station.
