Seizure of Heroin at Cork Airport
Officers from Revenue's Customs Service today (15/10/07) seized 15 capsules of Heroin with a street value of €30,000.
The drugs were discovered after an Iranian national in his thirties was questioned. The passenger who had travelled on a flight from Amsterdam had ingested the drugs.
He is currently assisting Gardai with enquiries.
