EUR 400,000 worth of Herbal Cannabis seized in Cork
Following a joint operation involving officers from Revenue's Customs Service at Cork and the Cork Garda Drug Squad 40kg of Herbal Cannabis, with an approximate street value of EUR 400,000, was seized in Cork city today (16/08/07).
The drugs had been concealed in a suite of furniture which had arrived from South Africa.
One man has been arrested and is being held at Mayfield Garda station.
