Customs Seize Cannabis Resin at Rosslare
Officers from Revenue's Customs Service at Rosslare today (16 August 2007) seized 23.25kgs of Cannabis resin with an estimated street value of €162,750.
The drugs were concealed in UK registered Audi A4 Estate car which had arrived on a ferry from Cherbourg, France at lunchtime.
A male and female, both from Dundalk, are being held at Wexford Garda Station.
The seizure was a result of Customs profiling.
