Cocaine seized at Dublin Airport

Officers from Revenue's Customs Service in Dublin Airport today (15/11/2007) seized 1Kg of cocaine with a street value of €70,000.

The drugs were discovered following the arrest of a Polish man aged 30 who had arrived on a flight from Brussels.

He was X-rayed and found to have been carrying 95 pellets of cocaine internally.

He has been handed over to Gardai in Santry.

The find resulted from risk profiling by Customs officers.
