Customs officers seize cocaine worth €300,000 at Cork Airport

Officers from Revenue's Customs service at Cork Airport this morning (20/05/07) seized approximately 4 Kg of cocaine with an estimated street value of €300,000 from two passengers both of whom are German passport holders. The couple (male and female) had arrived in Cork from Nairobi via Amsterdam.

The cocaine was concealed in the lining of both passengers' luggage.

The pair have been arrested.
