Cocaine seizure of €250,000 in Dublin
As a result of a joint operation involving Revenue's Customs Officers and members of the Garda National Drug Unit, 3.5Kgs of Cocaine, with an approximate street value of €250,000, was seized in Rathmines, Dublin yesterday (25/10/2007).
Three men in their 20s have been arrested under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 and are being held at Terenure Garda Station.
The drugs had been imported in cargo through Dublin Airport from Peru.
Investigations are ongoing.
