Customs seize Cash at Cork Airport
Officers from Revenue's Customs Service at Cork Airport today (06/06/08) seized approx €100,000 under Section 38 of the Criminal Justice Act 1994 as amended by the Proceeds of Crime Amendment Act 2005.
The cash was discovered following routine examination of checked-in luggage belonging to an Irish female who was booked on a flight to the U.K.
