Seizure of €168,000 worth of Herbal Cannabis
Officers from Revenue's Customs Service based at Dublin Port seized herbal cannabis in three operations mounted in the Dublin and Kildare area. The operations were run over a seven day period and resulted in the total seizure of 14Kgs of herbal cannabis with an estimated street value of €168,000.
In a joint operation mounted by Customs and Gardai today (18/04/08), a 30 year old Irish female was arrested in the Kildare area and taken to Newbridge Garda Station for questioning.
Investigations are ongoing.
