Major Heroin seizure in Meath
In a joint operation involving officers from Revenue's Customs Service in Dublin Port and Gardai from the GNDU and from Meath, 10 Kgs of Heroin with a street value of €2 million has been seized in Trim Co. Meath. Cash in the region of €250,000 has also been seized.
Two Irish males one aged 29 years and the other aged 38 years have been arrested and are being questioned at Kells Garda station. In a follow-up operation in Lucan a 25 year-old Irish female has been arrested and is being questioned at Ronanstown Garda station.
