Customs seize cannabis in Rosslare Europort
Officers from Revenue's Customs service have seized 5Kgs of herbal cannabis with a street value of €60,000 at Rosslare Europort, this morning (23/06/2008). Two Polish nationals, a male aged 36 years and a female aged 45, have been arrested and are being questioned at Wexford garda station. The drugs were found inside the tyre of a car, disembarking the ferry from Roscoff. Drug sniffer dog 'Dillon' identified the location of the drugs during routine risk-profiling by Customs officers.
