Customs seize cannabis resin in Rosslare Europort
Officers from Revenue's Customs service have seized 83.5Kgs of cannabis resin with a street value of €584,500 at Rosslare Europort, this morning (27/06/2008). Two Irish nationals have been arrested and are being questioned at Wexford garda station. The drugs were found inside the rear of a van, disembarking the ferry from Roscoff. Drug sniffer dog 'Dillon' identified the location of the drugs during routine risk-profiling by Customs officers. This is the second detection of drugs by 'Dillon' this week.
