Herbal cannabis seized at Rosslare
Officers from Revenue's Customs service in Rosslare Europort yesterday (02/11/2009) seized 4.64Kgs of herbal cannabis with a street value of €55,680.
A Polish male aged 30 was arrested and handed over to Gardai in Wexford.
The drugs were found when officers searched a car disembarking the ferry from France.
Drug detection dog 'Alfie' gave an indication to officers who discovered the drugs hidden in eight packages.
