700Kgs Cannabis seized in Dublin
Officers from Revenue's Customs service based at Dublin Port, supported by Gardai, today (09/09/09), seized 700Kgs of herbal cannabis with an estimated street value of €8.4million.
The drugs were elaborately concealed in a consignment of flowers that had arrived by truck into Dublin Port from Holland, via Holyhead. One male Dutch national was arrested and is currently assisting officers with enquiries.
