Drugs seizure in Rosslare
Officers from Revenue's Customs service in Rosslare Europort have seized 6Kgs of herbal cannabis with a street value of €70,000. The drugs were concealed in the fuel tank of a Volkswagen Passat as it disembarked the car ferry from Cherbourg, France.
The find resulted from risk profiling and were discovered following an indication by drug detection dog 'Dillon'. A non-Irish national has been arrested by Customs officers and is currently being held for questioning.
