Cannabis seized by Customs in Ringaskiddy, Cork
Officers from Revenue's Customs Service at Ringaskiddy Ferryport, Cork today (08/05/10) seized approx 15kg cannabis with an estimated street value of over €150,000. The drug was concealed in a vehicle which arrived on the ferry this morning and was detected as a result of profiling.
The vehicle was being driven by a Polish national.
The driver is currently in Garda custody.
Investigations are ongoing.
