Customs Seize Tobacco in Kerry
Officers from Revenue's Customs Service today (07/10/2010) seized approximatly 80kg of tobacco and a small quantity of cigarettes in Tralee. The seizure, which is a part of Revenue's ongoing operations targeting the supply and sale of illegal cigarettes, has an estimated retail value of €30,000.
One male in his sixties was questioned and investigations are ongoing with a view to prosecution
