Customs Seize Drugs in Dundalk
Revenue's Customs Service, yesterday (14/9/2010), in a joint operation involving the Garda National Drugs Unit, Dundalk Garda Drugs Unit and Cavan Garda Drugs Unit, seized approximately 7.5kg of herbal cannabis with a street value of €90,000.
A Nigerian male in his forties has been detained under the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 at Dundalk Garda Station.
The herbal cannabis was imported through Dublin Airport in a package consigned from Uganda.
