Drug Seizure at Rosslare
Officers from Revenue's Customs service in Rosslare Europort today (18/03/2010) seized 10Kgs of herbal cannabis with an estimated street value of €120,000 and 2Kgs of amphetamines with an estimated street value of €30,000.
The drugs were deeply concealed in an Audi car disembarking a ferry from France. Officers made the seizure following profiling and a reaction given by drug detection dog 'Dylan'.
A man in his thirties has been arrested and is currently in Garda custody in Wexford.
