Drugs Seizure in Dublin
Mephedrone and herbal cannabis with an approximate street value of €60,000 were seized today (29/07/10) in a joint operation involving Revenue’s Customs Service, the Garda National Drugs Unit and the Kevin Street Garda Drugs Unit.
Two males, one Irish and one Brazilian, were arrested under section two of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996. They are currently being held at Kevin Street Garda Station.
The mephedrone was imported through Dublin Airport in a parcel consigned from China.
