Herbal Cannabis and Stun Guns Seized in Co. Monaghan
Officers from Revenue's Customs Service in a joint operation with Gardai, today (28/02/2011), seized approximately 1.7kg of herbal cannabis with an estimated street value of €40,000, in Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan.
Seven stun guns were also seized and a man in his forties was arrested. Investigations are ongoing with a view to prosecution.
