Cannabis Seized at Dublin Airport
Officers from Revenue's Customs Service, based in Dublin Airport, seized approximately 15kg of cannabis resin on Saturday (05/03/2011).
The drugs, with an estimated street value of €105,000, were discovered when officers stopped and searched the baggage of a 48 year old Irish female, travelling from Murcia, Spain.
She was arrested, handed over to Gardai and is due to appear in court today (07/03/2011)
To date in 2011 over €1.9 million worth of drugs have been seized by Customs Officers in Dublin Airport.
