Customs Seize Khat at Dublin Airport
Officers from Revenue's Customs Service, today (19/05/2011), seized 48kg of Khat with an approximate street value of €100,000.
The Khat was packed in two suitcases and a 46 year old British male, travelling from Dublin to New York was arrested. He was handed over to Gardaí and is expected to appear in court later today.
This is second seizure of Khat in Dublin Airport this week.
