Customs Seize Drugs in Rosslare Europort
Officers from Revenue's Customs Service, today (22/08/2011), seized 56kg of cannabis resin with a street value of €337,500.
Officers made the seizure on foot of routine profiling. The drugs were concealed in the fuel tank of a van that was stopped and searched as it was disembarking a ferry that had arrived from France.
A 29 year old Romanian male was arrested and is currently being held by Gardai in Wexford.
