Customs Seize Heroin at Dublin Airport
Revenue's Customs Service yesterday (25/01/2011), in a joint operation with Gardaí, seized 142g of heroin with an estimated street value of €22,000, pending forensic analysis.
The drugs were seized from two passengers, one male and one female, who had arrived from Brussels.
Both were arrested under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 and are currently being held at Store Street Garda Station.
The seizure was a result of profiling by Revenue's Customs Service.
