Modernising Ireland’s administration of Value-Added Tax - Public consultation extended to 31 January
On 13 October 2023, Revenue announced the launch of a public consultation on modernising Ireland’s administration of Value-Added Tax (VAT). A copy of this announcement is available here.
The focus of this initial public consultation is the modernisation of Business to Business (B2B) and Business to Government (B2G) VAT reporting, supported by eInvoicing.
Revenue has received extensive input to the consultation from a broad range of stakeholders, and thanks those who have taken time to contribute to date.
Revenue has now extended the consultation period to Wednesday 31 January 2024, to provide stakeholders with an additional opportunity to share their views, suggestions and possible concerns.
