Changes to the operation of Relevant Contracts Tax (RCT) - online information session

Revenue is introducing a mandatory electronic RCT system on 1st January 2012 for ALL principal contractors in the RCT system. Information sessions on the new RCT system are currently being held at various venues nationwide.

For your convenience, an online version of the information session is provided below (in eight separate parts). If you have any questions following the online presentation, please read the FAQs on the new system which will be updated on a regular basis.

IMPORTANT NOTE ON NEW RCT SYSTEM:
The facility to allow principal contractors to notify contracts online has been deferred from 28th November 2011 to 5th December 2011. Principal contractors may access the new RCT system on or after 5th December to view, notify or amend contracts. The full system will go live on 1st January 2012, as planned.
