Customs seize drugs at Dublin Port

Officers from Revenue's Customs Service based at Dublin Port, supported by Gardaí based at Store Street Garda Station, seized 22kgs of herbal cannabis and 1kg of cocaine with a combined estimated street value of €330,000, today (13/05/12).

The drugs were concealed in a 40ft trailer that had arrived into Dublin Port from Holyhead.

One male, an Irish national in his fifties, was arrested and taken to Store Street Garda Station for questioning.
