Revenue seizes liquid cocaine in Dublin
As a result of an intelligence-led operation between Revenue's Customs Service at Dublin Airport and An Garda Síochana focused on the sale and supply of controlled drugs in the city, approximately 0.5kg of liquid cocaine with an estimated street value of €35,000 was seized yesterday (03/12/14) at a house in Dublin 9.
The drugs which were discovered in a house in Drumcondra, originated in Brazil and had been concealed in a shipment of aromatherapy oils. Three non-Irish national males were arrested.
Investigations are on-going and files are being prepared for the DPP.
