Revenue seizes cigarettes at Rosslare Europort
As a result of routine profiling, officers from Revenue’s Customs Service yesterday (22/10/2014) seized 9,300 cigarettes with a retail value of €4,710* at Rosslare Europort.
The 'Minsk' cigarettes were discovered concealed in the floor and door panels of an Irish registered car that disembarked a ferry from France. A 37 year old man was interviewed and a file is being prepared for the DPP.
