Revenue seizes drugs in Rosslare

Officers from Revenue’s Customs Service seized today (28/1/14), 2.7kgs of cannabis and .32kgs of a substance believed to be ecstasy with a total street value of €63,200 at Rosslare Europort.

The drugs were discovered, concealed under the back seat of a car, which had arrived on a ferry from Cherbourg this afternoon.

Two male Polish nationals were arrested and taken to Wexford Garda station for questioning.

Investigations are on-going.
