Cannabis seized in Dublin in joint operation between Revenue and An Garda Síochána

As part of an intelligence-led, joint operation between officers from Revenue's Customs Service and the Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau of An Garda Síochána, on Sunday (30/08/15), approximately 19 kgs of herbal cannabis with an estimated street value of €380,000 were seized at Dublin Port.

The drugs were discovered, with assistance from Revenue’s sniffer dog Meg, in a trailer that had disembarked a ferry from Rotterdam.

Investigations are ongoing.
