Revenue seizes alcohol in Kerry
Officers from Revenue’s Customs Service in Co. Kerry on Friday (7/8/15) seized nearly 1,300 litres of alcohol with an estimated value of over €11,200 from an unlicensed trader in Kerry.
The entire stock of alcohol products, which included beer, wine, spirits and liquor, was seized from the unlicensed trader who continued to trade without an appropriate excise license despite having received a warning letter from Revenue.
This is the second seizure of this nature in Co Kerry over the last two weeks. On 3/7/15 nearly 270 litres of alcohol valued at over €3,300 was seized from another unlicensed trader in Co. Kerry.
